I’m Anna, a naturopathic nutritional therapist and yoga teacher
My interest in nutrition and natural therapies has been life-long, but it wasn’t until my children grew up, and I left my career in design that I began to really pay attention to the voice inside me calling me to follow my passion.
So I spent 3 years studying Nutritional Therapy and Naturopathy at The College of Naturopathic Nutrition. Now I work holistically with anyone who wants to optimise their overall health or address a health condition that they are living with.
In 2018 I established Havelock Therapy Space in South London with a vision of creating a healing hub. Alongside nutritional therapy, we offer massage therapy, reflexology, homeopathy, physiotherapy, osteopathy, reiki, yoga and counselling.
Kundalini Yoga has been in my life for 20 years and I have been a teacher for 10 years. From my very first class, I felt that I had discovered a holistic yogic practice that could nourish me on every level of my being. Keen to share this wonderful practice I completed my teacher training with world-renowned yogis Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa and Darryl O’Keefe at i-SKY in the UK. I teach regular classes in London and have taught on retreats and workshops in Morocco, Italy and New Zealand.
When I met Yin Yoga, I recognised the power of this practice as an antidote to modern living. There is plenty of emphasis in the exercise world on building muscle but much less on the health of our connective tissues. As we age, joints begin to degenerate, and tendons and ligaments lose elasticity becoming more vulnerable. Yin Yoga gently stresses tissues to build strength, joint stability and flexibility whilst encouraging us to deeply relax. I trained to teach with Sebastian Purcelle & Murielle Burellier, and with Norman Blair.
“Anna’s Kundalini classes are a shining star each mid-week and if I’ve ever had to miss them, I’ve missed them a lot. South London would not be the same without her!”
